Cat Person

Bethany began her career as a professional stage actor and production supervisor for live performances and events. She migrated into the film and video production world over 15 years ago as an actor and program host. When she discovered that the production team could wear running sneakers and a baseball hat to work, she quickly pivoted off camera as a post production story editor and never looked back.

Bethany credits her background in theatre and storytelling as the perfect training ground for learning how to listen carefully to the needs of clients and stakeholders and how to conduct authentic interviews with documentary subjects. It’s where she learned how to cultivate supportive, creative environments for production teams and how to keep a cool head and good sense of humor under pressure. (Because who are we kidding? This job can be uber stressful, but that doesn’t give you a free pass to be a jerk! Being nice can go a long way…)

Recent work includes two seasons as a producer and field producer on two Netflix, sports themed, docuseries’ and a nature themed series that currently streams on Magnolia Network/Max. Bethany has produced, directed, and edited over 40 spots for Comcast and has extensive experience in pre-production coordination and administration.

Bethany holds a degree in acting from the University of the Arts, School of Theatre and and is trained in martial arts.
